Reporting passing result to visascreen

I am a Canadian RN. I wrote the NCLEX last week and passed according to quickresults.

My VISA screen process is already under way for the VISA screen certificate. All they need is my passing NCLEX result. Will the state board of nursing automatically submit my result to CGFNS or do I need to request it?

You need to request it and pay a small fee. There should be a form in with the vsc handbook

Thank you. There is no form for reporting NCLEX results in the visa screen handbook that I can find.

Am I supposed to submit the license verification form to the state BON? (Minnesota, in my case.)

(If so, I assume I need to wait for the actual paper letter indicating I passed. I just have quick results so far.)

This is probably an obvious question but do state BON automatically issue your license once you have passed the NCLEX?

Yes you submit the license verification form and fees to the BON and request transfer of results to ICHP. You do not need to wait for letter indicating pass as long as you know you have passed.

Not all states will issue you with a license, some require SSN first and you can't get that until in the US with a valid work visa

I understand to enclose a payment of $60 with the license verification form to CA BRN before they will forward my NCLEX results to ICHP for Visa Screen Certificate,is money order the best way to pay them? Sorry, but I really dont know how to process money order payment, How do I do that? Thank you.

You go to any bank and ask for bank draft in US$$, there is usually a small charge for this. If your own bank they may not charge but no guarantee

Does a bank draft ask for what name/organization/business to be paid for? If so, is it right that I put California Board of Registered Nurse in it? Thank you.

On their site but for something else they mention 'made payable to the Board of Registered Nursing' http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/applicants/exam-app.pdf
