Have any of you been told by the BON that you need to repeat inpatient treatment because you didn't complete it or because it's been so long? I sure hope not. The MS BON just sent me a certified letter after 3 1/2 years and I meet with them on Oct 8th for a settlement conference. I admitted myself to inpatient treatment on Nov 2015, however I didn't complete it- I did stay 60 of 90 days then came home due to marital issues. I did complete outpatient a few months later. Hopefully I will just have to get an assessment done and they will deem treatment as inappropriate since I have been clean so long. I know insurance will not help pay for treatment unless you still have a problem and have a positive drug /alcohol screen. I am in Mississippi. Any info is greatly appreciated!

Keep documentation of everything you are doing to prove you are clean. If you can get an records from the treatment centers it would be a good idea to ask for them now.

Oh god I sure hope not. I think of all the stuff I went through in the program inpatient rehab was the absolute worst. Anyway if left to the “professional” therapists opinion then probably as they have a monetary interest in nurses being in rehab and “therapy”. I wish you well and hope this works out ok

Yes.
So it really would make a difference?
Yes. It absolutely can make a difference. As I said on your other thread, not having a lawyer puts you at risk for a worse outcome.
