Relocating to the Northwest Florida Panhandle

I'm a recent LPN graduate relocating to the NW Florida Panhandle. I've been looking at places to move in the area. Pensacola seems to have the most to offer for employment but I'd like live somewhere further off the beaten path. I also need to find a bridge program to RN but also might consider doing it online. I'd appreciate any information and advice. Thanks in advance for your input.

omg i'm thinking of going out there too! Pensacola is beautiful , I was stationed at the Navy base there years ago. My California license expires in 2017, i just want to get out of CA . Pensacola is a big military town, good luck

After scouting out the area, we decided on Navarre. It's half way between Pensacola and Destin. All of the jobs seem to consist of home healthcare, ltc, and some clinical. Sacred Heart and Baptist hospitals occasionally advertise other positions. Many places seem to think medical assistant and LPN are the same type of job which just motivates me to complete my bridge. I'm looking for a position at one the military installations since the pay is a bit more competitive. That being said, don't fall out of your chair when they offer you 15-17 dollars per hour with no benefits. It seems to be the standard, no matter how much experience you have. However, Pensacola offers the bulk of positions available. Good luck to you DaniloDaniels.
