Relocating from florida to new york!!

hey guys! I am a postpartum nurse with 3 years experience. I use to live in NY and looking to relocate back from Florida! Does any one know of any hospitals that pay for relocation expenses? How do I obtain a NY license? Any NY nurses out here know of hospitals currently hiring??

Hey, I'm from Tampa...where do you work currently? I know if at least one person (even though he is a new grad) who had to move to Tampa because there was no work in NY/NYC. He said all the hospitals had hiring freezes. Good to see that there's a fellow Tampa resident on this forum :yeah:

^^^ I also heard that. In NY it's soo hard to find a new grad job. I'm lucky to have had 2 since I graduated.

I think Montefiore is hiring. Also you might want to consider Nurse-Family Partnership since you have PP experience, check the NYC.gov website for that position.
