:monkeydance:Hi,
I am a recent grad and will be working at Memorial Sloan Kettering starting this September. I want to stay at this hospital, but want to move my family (3 kids) within the next 3 years. I need to be able to commute, will travel up to 90 min, am looking for a nice, reasonably priced home, good taxes, somewhere toward upstate, past Westchester (too expensive) Any input is greatly appreciated!!

Why would you want to commute 90 minutes each way? I can understand your wanting to move to a more suburban area, but I think that 90 minutes is too long...also, taxes wise, I don't think you are going to find any bargains in Westchester.

Have you tried looking at houses on Realtor.com? The tri-state area is expensive, and I think even past Westchester you will see high prices on homes.

I Live In The Hudson Valley New York Dutchess County
First Off. The Prices For Home In Nyc Are Ridiculous.
You Wont Find Any Home That Are Worth Living In For 235000
All Home Start At 350 And Something Like That..
Beside The Vermin Problem There . I Would Not Think Of It.
I Lived In The City And Move To The Hudson Valley.
We Have So So Hospitals Up Here But The Pay Are Excellent.
Dutchess County Is Mostly A Nursing And Teaching Career County. Other Than That You Wont Be Able To Find A Job.
The Home Here Are In The High 200 And Max Out At The Millions
But You Maybe Able To Find A Home Much Nicer Up Here.
I My Self Am Moving To Atlanta To Buy A New Home ..
More Bang For You Dollar And Prices Are Still Reasonable For Lovely Looking Homes.
