I took the jurisprudence exam yesterday and just wanted to let everyone know who has questions in regards to the test. They give you 2 hours to take the test but I completed it in about 50 minutes.

I am in the process of getting my verification and fingerpriniting for Texas. I think that sucks that we have to take that test. Do you recommend buying that online study guide?? Why do they require finger printing as well??? I have endorsed my license else where and have not had to that. They just verified it and that was it. NO Test But I REALLY look forward to moving to the DFW area. Beautiful city and great places to see and eat!! Any good leads on jobs out there??? Was the exam tough?? Thank you for any bit of info!!

Chica- I know Baylor heart and vascular hospital is actively seeking ICU/CCU nurses and manager for day or night shift
The test is on the nurse practice act for Texas. No, do not waste your money on the study guide. Its pretty straight forward. If you do need to reference any material, the test opens in one window allowing you to open another window to look up the reference material.
Everywhere that I endorsed my license too ask for fingerprints, its to do a state and federal background check on you.

I definitely recommend taking the online study review. I think in the long run you save time bc you don't have to flip through anything.
I my license is originally from Texas and when I moved to california, I had to do the fingerprinting as well.

Don't lose sleep over the JP test. Pretty easy and straightforward. No big deal.
