Western Governors University offers an online RN-to-MSN degree program with a BSN awarded in the middle if you petition for it. The downside to this program is the pass/fail grading system which results in a 3.0 grade point average.

Another option is just look for a program that offers both the BSN and the MSN, and then do both programs consecutively (and honestly, you don't even NEED to do it at the same place, but there would be no potential hassle with credit transferring if you do it through the same school). But yes, I second Commuter's suggestion. I did my BSN there, and now am finishing up my MSN (I did the programs separately).

Thanks for the suggestion. I've heard that Texas Arlington University offers RN to MSN with BSN awarded at the middle of the program. Any feedback about this university? I am hesitating a little bit to go there before I know a bit more about this university .Would be helpful to hear from people ,who got to know this university from their own experience .I did some of my own search, regarding accreditation, but that's about all I know. I would like to hear feedback about education , how difficult their requirements are, grading system, financial rip offs and so forth. Would appreciate to hear feedback. Thanks.

It's called the University of Texas at Arlington. Its nursing programs are well-regarded. They do not offer an online RN-to-MSN program that I am aware of.

The online BSN degree program costs $257 per credit hour, or about $9,000 if you have all the prerequisite coursework they need. The online MSN in nursing education costs an additional $20,000 and the online MSN in nursing administration costs an additional $18,000.

Yes, I just checked online. They now offer the RN-to-MSN program. Tuition is $27,000.
