AM I AN RN YET?

I graduated in December '14, got my ATT, took and passed my NCLEX, but I still don't have a license number from my BoN! All the information is in: my fingerprints have processed, my fees paid, nothing is pending, but still no license number. How long does it take before the BoN posts a license number after you pass NCLEX? Can I say I am an RN yet? All of the applications I have looked at online ask if you are a registered nurse...

It really depends on the state plus they're busy December and may since most people graduate and take their boards around this time. I took my boards July 1st but opted not to receive my actual license until August since that's my birthday and didn't want to pay double fees so it took a month for me. I didn't write I was an RN on my resume until I had my license number though. I did make sure to tell managers I had passed my boards during interviews before this time however.

You aren't an RN until you see actual license numbers posted. Once you see that, you know you've been issued a license and it's just a matter of time before the physical proof of said license arrives in the mail.

Thanks to you both! I just got the text that they posted my license number! Now I really am official!

I took my boards yesterday and received this pop up saying that our records indicate you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time. Is this the good pop up? Can't access quick results until tomorrow.
