I am new graduate that is interested in working in dialysis. I have to talk with a recruiter with Davita and the recruiter stated that she will send my application to the clinical team to set up an interview. From anyone's experience in the hiring process, how long does it take to hear from the clinical managers? I don't know if this is new graduate impatience (it's okay to let me know LOL), but I would like to start sometime in the next month.

Finally, something I can help with.
I'm not sure if you'll be able to start next month, but hopefully, you'll be able to start soon. I had an interview with the clinical managers the day after my phone interview with a recruiter. I was lucky they even had time available because the recruiter said they were really booked.
Here's my timeline:
January 26th: Applied and took the pre-employment assessment.
January 27th: Received email from a recruiter wanting to set up a phone interview.
February 1st: Phone interview (could've made the appointment sooner but I had things going on.)
February 2nd: Panel interview w/ manager at my training facility and another nurse. There was a third person in the interview but they didn't speak at all. I believe the interview process was expedited because the position is set to start on March 1st.
February 8th: Received verbal offer over the phone from the recruiter I originally spoke to.
February 9th: Sent out an email stating that I accept the verbal offer. The recruiter writes back telling me to expect an email from the "Welcome Wagon" with my next steps and written offer within a day or two.
February 12th: I had not yet received an offer letter, so I sent a polite email asking recruiter when I can expect to receive the written offer. I received no reply but was sent an email from the welcome wagon within 40 minutes and was able to start my on-boarding process.
February 12th-16th: Did pre-employment necessities/on-boarding process.
February 18th: Was sent an email from the "Welcome Wagon" congratulating me on finishing the screenings and document process. They gave me the email to my manager and told me to look out for some future documents I'll need to fill out.
All-in-all, it took about two whole weeks for me to go from application to hire. I should be starting in a little over a week. Just try to get your documentation done as soon as possible. It took me a few days to do the drug test (due to weather and holiday closings) and I received an email from the welcome wagon stating I would be ineligible for the position if I didn't complete my drug test by the end of the next day.
Thank you so much! So I just need to be patient LOL. I had originally talked with the recruiter the week of Feb. 8th and at that time I hadn't taken the NCLEX ( I was taking it on the 12th). So we had agreed that I would call her after I had my results and license. We talked again yesterday just as a follow up on salary and she said would send my information the clinical managers.
Congratulations!
