Reactivating license- need some advice for CE's

Published

I am an RN in Ohio ready to reactivate my license. I have been inactive since I learned of our fourth pregnancy 5 years ago, but before that was at home taking care of kids, before that I worked 1 year Meg/Surg in small hospital, before that 1 year of homehealth nursing. I need some advice on what CE's to take (already fulfilled the OH Nurse Practice Act- Ohio nursing law 1CE), but am really not wanting to go into a fulltime career. Just get my feet a little wet. I haven't been wasting my time. Since my oldest started kindergarten, we have been a homeschooling family and I want to continue this. I'd like to hear from anyone with similar situation. Which CE's should I take? Should I re-certify in BLS/CPR or get ACLS and is this a requirement or highly favored certificate to have?

Lots of questions. I would prefer to get into a partime situation that doesn't interfere with the kids-urgent care center possibly. Any suggestions?
