Hi,
I failed the NCLEX-RN in May & am re-registering to Pearson Vue but my old ATT's end date is 7/19/2010. I was hoping to take the test early in July (which would be approximately 45 days after failing in May). After I register & pay, can I use my old ATT to reschedule or do I have to wait for a new one?
Thanks!
P.S. I'm in NJ. (Don't know if that matters.)

Far as I know you have to get a new ATT. The old one was used up by the first test.

You can register with pearson vue at any time. However...you will not be allowed to schedule a test date until your BON issues a new ATT, which you will recieve from Pearson Vue via email. It will have a different validation code and different dates on it. Even though your old one is not expired, it is no longer valid. So after you register and pay pearson vue, it is imperative that you send in your new application with fee to your board of nursing as well.
Thanks.
Thanks, WEST1014. But the NJBON doesn't require another fee for reapplication. That's why I thought I could use my old ATT. I sent everything out, so I've just gotta wait...again. :grn:
