I'm doing ISU as well. Just started phase 2 and I'm taking my regular nursing courses starting in January.
How did you find phase one? Am I being unrealistic thinking I could finish up one course a month and have this all done in 8 months?
Were the tests very difficult? Did you find the study materials provided to be sufficient in preparing for the exams?
Thanks :)

Phase 1 is just all your pre-reqs. I have started and stopped my degree about 700 times in the last 10 years (lol!) so I had most of my pre-reqs anyway. I only had about 6 or 7 to go. I used TCN modules for some and did some others through the college I'm in now(well, just finishing up my last semester at my old school).
No way a module a month is not unreasonable at all. Of course that depends on what your other family and professional obligations are. I'm not working but I have a family and I'm really involved in church stuff, Sunday School, and was homeschooling my kids up until a couple of months ago so if you like to be busy (which I do) and work well under pressure then you can crank these courses out pretty fast. :)
I thought the study guides were great although the A&P one reeeeeeeally needs to be more visual. That's my only gripe with it but it's a big one. lol! I got the Physiology coloring book and a smaller anatomy coloring book and really I feel like those are absolutely essential to add onto that module. They do include a CD which is great but I felt like the coloring book helped me more than anything else.
