Hi all!
I'm mostly optimistic about things but I'm feeling a bit under the weather about my microbiology class. My first exam i received a 62%, and I just got back my second exam which was a 68% and I mean I worked my tail off for this second exam because I knew how bad I did for the first one. I forgot about all my other courses just to focus on this ONE class. I thought at the LEAST I would get was a B- but I was wrong. I won't lose faith though. Hopefully I come out of the class with at least a B considering the 10% extra credit I'll receive at the end of the semester, one more exam, a presentation, and he may curve the exams depending on the average score for the class.
What do you guys think? Anyone been through anything similar?
I also got a C- in nutrition, which I'm taking over spring semester, and C in human & physiology lab, which was one credit and the advisor told me not to worry so much because it's only one credit. My GPA is a 3.36 and my nursing program GPA is a 3.5
Any hope for me?

Don't lose hope! You can do this. Maybe you can go to the professor's office hours and ask him/her what you can do to study more effectively for the next exam. Try to find other ways to learn the material and look for additional resources to supplement your learning. I'm taking A&P1 and I find that the Anatomy Coloring Book by Kapit and Elson helps me a lot. I wouldn't have known about the coloring book hadn't been for this site. And I actually bought it and it has helped tremendously. I'm getting an A in A&P1 right now. So yeah, there are microbiology tips and learning links on this forum somewhere I think. Check it out and good luck! :]

Honestly I have a C in Microbiology right now too. I have B+ in A+PI, but my thing is, if I get A's in both A+P I and II, then I think I have a chance. My gpa is 3.07 right now, but you never know what it will be when I apply...thinking 3.2.
