"A Hospital Germ on the Warpath"

There was a very good and shocking article in the November issue of the AARP Bulletin. It is about c-diff. I don't know how to post it to here but maybe NRSKarenRN can help out with that. I plan to take it to my hospital's infection control RN and ask her about it. The comments at the end are interesting, too. The author is Betsy McCaughey, a former lieutenant govenor of New York.

Although I have to say that the most interesting (and infuriating) thing about the comments is that some are becrying the lack of care or knowledge of health care personel while exhibiting their own misconceptions and ignorance of both c.diff and transmission. I can't believe that people who think that c.diff and staph are the same thing feel that they are informed enough to call us nurses uneducated.

I was reading the comments. I see what you mean.
