questions about travel nursing

I am considering doing travel nursing for awhile, but am wondering if my experience is enough to apply to agency. I have worked MS for 1 year at the beginning of my career and have spent the last 3.5 yrs. in an outpatient urgent care setting. Would be willing to work MS if I had to,but wonder if the 1 year is enough. Any thoughts from the travelers out there.

Most hospitals and many agencies will only consider you for positions in an area in which you have "current" experience - as in within the last year. You may want to pick up some agency shifts on MS in a local hospital as a way of "refreshing" your experience so that it is current.
