Well, it's done. I sat for the Nclex this morning, computer shut off at 75 questions and I do not feel great about it. I really don't know how to feel about it. I don't know what else I could have done to prepare. Now the wait is on. Say a prayer for me please.:uhoh3:

Well, I keep posting this message, and it's true for you, too: the odds are greatly in your favor! Use this time to do some deep breathing, unwind, read a magazine, go for a walk, or imbibe heavily...whatever relaxes you! You DID IT, the test is behind you, just waiting now for your PASS :)

I've been milling around this website for the past few weeks, trying to get a feel for what to expect regarding the NCLEX. Finally posting after using a box of tissues, as I returned from the Pearson Testing Center this morning and feel like 99.9% of the others that have taken this dreaded exam! Have been reviewing solidly for the past few weeks, answered thousands of questions in both books and on the computer, was drug away from the keyboard last night after completing my THIRD set of 265 questions in one day (Billings Review scored 78, 79, 85), slept horribly, but felt confident going in and was KNOCKED off my horse when the screen went blank at 75! Felt like I didn't know one answer and guessed at them all! NO math, 2 pharmacology and what felt like an eternity of delgation and prioritizing questions! Have my mind set that I have to retake this! 48 hours might as well be 48 weeks!

Stressgal,

I feel for you! I took my test yesterday, and turned off at 75 too. I feel so anxious right now, I don't know how I can wait another day.

Do you remember questions that you had that you know you got wrong? I looked up some information when I got home, and verified that I gave some wrong answers, now I'm even more nervous!

Good Luck, I hope we both pass!

Ann

Hey Stressgal I took it the 6th and it shut off at 75 as well. Still waiting.....all my best to you guys.

I just passed on my 3rd try with 75 questions! Mine was mostly prioritizing, also. From what I understand, those are the higher level questions so that is a good sign. They were all who to assess first, who to discharge first, what is the priority assessment, etc. Hang in there! My name showed up the next day! I'm sure you're fine! :nurse:

Hey, don't fret.... sounds like you did well. Take time to relax.... it's over now, time to wait and see .... i'm sure you passed ;)

Hi! I also took it today and shut off at 75! I don't feel confident at all. I felt that the questions did become really difficult. I was always left with two decent answers. I got five select all that apply. Most of my test was prioritizing and who do you discharge first, are these considered more difficult questions? I know you can pass or fail with 75 questions, but does anyone know if more pass or fail on 75? If anyone knows please answer, I am a nervous wreck?

Many more pass with 75 questions than fail. The odds are really in your favor! :)

Thanks it does make me feel a bit better...will let you know Thursday!
