Questions about TEAS test for those who have done well on it.

Published

I have a few questions for those of you who have taken the TEAS test and done well.

1. Did you take all of the typical prerequisites that most BSN programs require for their nursing programs before taking this test, none at all or just a few?

2. Do you recommend any specific study guide which helped you on this test?

3. If you take the test more than once, do they average the scores or go by the most recent score?

Thanks in advance,

Kristi :)

i took all the prereqs except pharmacology and statistics before taking the TEAS. i used a couple different nursing school entrance exam books from borders, cant' recall what they were called but i just took a look through each of them before buying to make sure they had the right information. i took the test for the first time and scored an 86.7, not bad, but i was hoping to do much better. a few months later i purchased the TEAS study manual from their website and i dont htink it helped that much to be honest. i scored a 87.1 the second time, still not what i was hoping for :/ they do not average the scores, but some schools only wanted my first score, while others did not have a preference.
