265 Questions...1 RN license =P

So I recently l recently looked up "genius" in the dictionary and I saw a picture of Suzanne next to the definition :D:D:D

I passed my NCLEX with 265 questions, and I owe it all to Suzanna and her plan! I actually passed back in November but I had been so busy with work and other stuff that I wasnt able to post.

It was my 3rd time taking the test and I had previously taken both the Kaplan and Hurst review courses. After finally doing Suzanne's plan I was able to pass my test...and what a feeling it was! For those of you on the fence about taking her plan I definitely recommend it. It was the most comprehensive of the 3 I took and I think it helped me the most.

Thank you Suzanne for all your help! For those of you that didnt pass the first time, dont give up! It CAN and WILL happen! Just put in the work and your time will come....just stay positive! You feel horrible when you dont pass but the feeling you get when you finally do is priceless!

Here's my :twocents: on the review courses I took:

1) Hurst: This was the first course I took. Looking back on this course I dont think it was money well spent. The course seemed too generalized and didnt really seem like it prepared me for the NCLEX at all. My classmates that took the class with me didnt seem like it helped them either.

2) Kaplan: I felt like Kaplan was better than Hurst. It was a little pricier but I would still pick Kaplan over Hurst. The Q Bank was awesome and they had a lot of NCLEX style questions to really get you prepared. Even the font and format of the questions looked exactly the same as the ones on test day! Plus, Kaplan has a guarantee that they will refund your money if you do not pass. The review book was great also plus they have online lectures as well. Money well spent IMO.

3) Suzanne's plan: This was the most time consuming but also the most comprehensive...plus it was the cheapest! I'd say give this a try before shelling out any money for the review courses. I know a lot of other people on this board will agree also.

Hope that helps anyone trying to prepare for NCLEX....Good luck!

...and mods, do you think I could get the "2b" removed from my user name now? :smokin:

It's nice to see another 265 passer post! I just took mine on Friday and I'm waiting the results..I too went up to 265! I was thrown with 10 multiple multiples, 4 put in orders and a bunch of really tough med questions...I felt SO upset after I left and just KNOW that I failed...the higher I went with questions the more depressed I got..Hopefully I'll have some good news come Monday or Tuesday...Congrats again!

Thanks I just failed my 3rd time. I had alot of hard questions. I also took Hurst and Kaplan so now money is getting tight with paying for retest and reviews. Congratulations
