For those of you the are able to check your results online through your state website; Have you ever found results to be posted in the evening or on the weekend ? I think I have failed because my classmate went the same day, but on a different time and different location and his results are posted, but mine are not. We usually get the results pretty quick, some people even get it on the same day.
Has anyone taken their exam on a Thursday and not relieved results until Monday?

The timing of your results has nothing to do with pass or fail status by pearson they post when they have been inspected by a human...not just the computer, stop worrying :)

Results are posted exactly 48 hours at the time you finished your test and are posted on weekends and holidays
okay then, if I don't have it by lunch time tomorrow I can stop torturing myself and and start preparing to take it again. Thanks, I just didn't know if it would be posted on a weekend or if I would have to wait until Monday.

If your State participates in Quick Results with PearsonVue your results (pass or fail) should be posted around 48 hrs after testing regarless of whether or not the 48 hrs falls on a weekend day/evening.
Your State Board of Nurses posting your results probably won't happen on a weekend or past normal "business" hours of the BON. They normally tend to post Monday thru Friday and during normal business hours. (think 8a-4p or 9a-5p) and at the end of the business day.
I wouldn't freak out and resign yourself to believing that you failed just because your BON didn't post your results online by tomorrow, or Sunday..or even Monday. A human has to review your results, posting usually occurs all at once, by the end of the business day.

Thankyou, that is exactly what I needed to know. I will probably just pay the 7.95 and save myself the agony.
I would have been checking the BON site all weekend.

BON websites are not updated on weekends as it would mean that someone would have to be there and manually input the licenses. And with government offices, you are not going to find one in the country that is going to do that.

State websites are updated by humans and the licenses are only posted once the file is reviewed by a human. The fact that one person has seen their name posted tells me nothing, just that the other files have not been gotten to.
If your state participates in Quick Results, then you can check that out, but be aware that only 1/2 of them do.
Best of luck on your results.

Also remember that your BON won't issue your lisence until you have met all of the BON requirements (application, background check, etc). We were told in school that a grad last year thought she had failed the NCLEX because her friends who took the NCLEX the same day already had their names posted on the BON website. She truly had thought she had failed, told the manager where she had been offered a position, & they offered the job to someone else. Turns out she had passed the NCLEX, but the BON was still waiting for her background check to clear. Oops!!

It took about 52 hours (not that I was counting or anything) before my results were posted, I don't think pass/fail has anything to do with timing. Best of luck!
In my state they don't post pass or fail. They post that your license is active and if you don't pass it will continue to pend, nothing shows up for privacy purposes.
Most people I know got their "active", the day of or the day after they passed. I have never known anyone to wait four or five days, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Thats just on the BON site. I just found out our state does not participate with pearson quick results. Anyway, I guess there is still a good chance I passed. I am going to try to focus on something else for the next couple of days, it is not healthy to worry this much.
Thanks for all the info and support.
