Question for the ones who took the ACT test

Published

How long before the exam did you study? Im scheduled to take it on October 23rd and am just cracking the.book open. I had ap2 over the summer and now im taking humanities online. This test is the main thing the school im applying to looks at above everything else and im afraid if i dont reschedule the exam and take it next month im going to fall flat on my face! The act website charges $20 to reschedule the exam but im assuming thats a small price to pay if it gives me more study time.

I say take it.... you never know what could happen

I don't think knowing how much I studied will have an bearing on how much you need to study.

Take a couple practice exams (by the rules: strict timing, one section right after the other, in the morning, etc) and see where you stand.

The other factors are whether you will use the extra time to study and whether you could take it again if you kept this date and didn't do well. Does it matter to your school if you take it again: do they average the results, take the highest, take the most recent, care that students take it multiple times?
