question on one of the job online application questions

Hello,

I'm filling out an online job application on the VA website, and the question says "10. Do you possess a national certification in a Nursing specialty?"

What counts as a national certification?

Do certifications such as ACLS, PALS, BLS or National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale count as the national certifications?

Thank you in advance!

Has 1 years experience.

They are asking if you have a certification such as CMSRN (certified medical surgical registered nurse) or OCN (oncology certified nurse), etc. To get these certifications you generally have to work in a specific nursing field for a few years and then pass an exam given by the nursing board of that specialty.

ACLS, PALS, and BLS are not what they are looking for with that question.

Thanks! Yea, I kinda thought so, but wanted to make sure.. Thanks again :)
