Hi I was wondering if I were to get my license in another state such as vermont, do I need to take the NCLEX in vermont? Or can I take the exam in Virginia and then just get license in vermont with evidence of passing the nclex? Thank you.

The exam can be taken anywhere, it is a national exam, you can take it in Hawaii or even London if you wish to go for vacation at the same time.
Location makes no difference, it is just written for a specific state.
Many take the exam overseas, before they even arrive in the US.
So I could take the vermont nclex exam while in Virginia?
Will I be required to travel to vermont for any reason then if I just plan on getting my license edorsed by virginia after I obtain that?
Also how long does the endorsement take usually?
Never have to go to Vermont.
It usually take about one month, perhaps less, for Vermont to send the license, since you are already in the US.
Not sure of the time frame for endorsing to Virginia, usually do not deal with anyone endorsing there.

Hi thank you for your info. What about endorsing for other states that you have dealt with? I just would like an avg time frame for most states. Thanks!
