Question about CNA Programs on Long Island

Published

Hello!

This is my first time posting here. I am currently a student taking my prerequisites for the RN program and SCCC. I was seriously considering working as a CNA while going to school; I think it would be a great learning experience plus might help me land a job after graduating as I can see from other posts new grads are having trouble finding employment! I was hoping to find free or low cost CNA training in the Long Island area as I am not working right now and $$ is very tight. (I lost my job in August 2010). Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)

Well... since no one else answered :) I now can answer my own question and thought I would post it so that if anyone else ever needs this info they can find it. The LIEOC offers a free training course if your financial circumstances warrant it.
