Hey guys,
I took my NCLEX-RN today. I felt like I knew nothing. Every question except maybe 3-4, I guessed. SOME questions, I could eliminate 2 choices but some, I even thought ALL of them were wrong answers (which is impossible, I know). The computer shut off at 75 Q's and I seriously am convinced that I failed because there was just...no way. I felt like it didn't matter if I took this test freshly graduate or given time to study. The questions were such a blur now and felt like everything I studied wasn't even on the test. I had 20 SATAs. I did PVT even though I know its not reliable, just to get a peace of mind, but no peace is given lol.
Anyway, if I pass, I wanted to make a Youtube video on how I studied and what tips I can give to those who are still waiting to take the test. When I make the video, I will post it here on allnurses because I definitely used this website to stay sane or go crazy. It was my "runaway" area when I felt stressed lol.
Good luck to those who are studying!

I feel your pain. I took my test yesterday morning and it shut off at 75 questions; however, I feel like I did not do well on it. Sitting here I can only remember the questions that I know I missed. I did the PVT as well and got the good pop up but it has not provided me with any peace. I can get my quick results in the morning. For now Im just driving my nursing buddies crazy and my family. Praying that I have an RN license.
I will hope for the BEST for the both of us. I too cannot stop thinking of all the questions I marked wrong. I am not sure if the questions were in the passing level difficulty, or I simply just didnt know crap lol. Its great that you have quick results! Im in Cali so we dont have that. I know what you mean by driving your loved ones insane. I cant stop talking about the test too and how absurd it was with all its funky answers!
Thank you! Will keep all criteria in mind.

I'm in the same boat. Did Hurst review, took it 2 days ago and I was stopped at 75 questions and I feel like I guessed on too many of them.
I get my quick results in 2 hours, the anxiety is killing me because I did the Pearson vue thing and its not giving me the good window, but I also heard its been corrected so, time will tell now.

How did you do?
I passed thank god. I just checked the quick result an hour ago. I wish I didn't attempt that trick because it gave me nothing but heartache.
I read something that seemed logical. The more you get right the harder it gets. That's probably why I felt like I was straight up guessing because I must have been doing something right. So feeling like you floundered does not mean you failed. I'm proof now.

Yay! congrats! So did you get the "bad" pop up?
Awesome!! Congrats!! I heard that there are false negatives because in order for the PVT to be accurate, you need to do it 24 hours after your exam ends, which gives time for the 2nd grading to happen. Say if you fail through the computer's grading and you get a bad pop up, but after the 2nd grading (may remove the 15 tester questions), you pass, then PVT won't work because now you passed! Is this making any sense? Im gonna make a Youtube video about this lol
yes, I used my bank card with an incorrect expiration date like 36 hours after my test time
I passed!!! I will post a YT video soon on another thread!
