A patient has lithium toxicity. She was dialyzed and remained extremely confused and twitchty hours after the dialysis. She is in acute renal failure. Is this reversible?

I had a patient that came in with a lithium toxicity of 8.2...he was ventilated as well because he was very aggessive/combative/with a very altered level of consciousness...he was dialized twice...we had to keep him on the vent for a couple of days because he was not responding well to command...the details are sketchy as this was awhile ago...I believe that he did end up going home...though I am not sure if he was ever the same...I think that we did reverse the acute renal failure, but I am sure that he is still closely monitored...mentally--not sure how he turned out...
