Throughout preparation for the NCLEX, I did my fair share of researching the experience other people had so I figured I should do the same...
I tested on June 19th and found out yesterday I passed!!!!!
The test day was nerve racking - I finished in 75 questions but did not feel confident enough to know I passed in 75 questions. As soon as I got back to my car, I did the PVT and got the good pop up. When I got home 30 minutes later, I did it again and got the good pop up again. About an hour later I got "the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time" so the panicking began - why are my results on hold? Nothing went wrong at the testing center - no problems with the computer. About 44 hours into the waiting period, it finally changed back to the good pop-up.
What did I use to study? I used Uworld and I think its the best out there. It is such a great question bank. When I didn't know something and needed more than what was offered in the rationale, I looked up info from past class notes or in the Saunders review book.
Uworld first assessment: scored a 74% - 93rd percentile (this was taken when I began studying 4 weeks before I took the NCLEX)
UWorld second assessment: scored a 64% - I don't remember the percentile but it was in the low 70s.
Overall Uworld score: 64.9% - 90th percentile.
