PVCC/JCL Spring 2010 Priority Placement Acceptance

Is anyone else out there waiting to find out if they've been accepted into the priority placement program through Paradise Valley Community College and John C Lincoln hospital? The program administrator said she would notify everyone by Dec 1st, but I'm not sure if she'll send out an email or letter. Any ideas or information out there? Maybe I'm just feeling overly anxious...:eek:

Did you happen to find out how you would be notified? I am also waiting to hear back for JCL's priority placement 2010. Thanks!

Hi JLJ430,

I emailed the program admin yesterday and received a reply! She said we will all receive letters in the mail, but she is not sure when they will be mailed out. Apparently the applications are still pending... :confused:

I'm trying my hardest not to go completely insane over here. :eek: I'm anxious to find out because I may have to get a new job and switch from full time to part time somewhere. The longer I wait the less time I have to make a switch...:uhoh21: Only 7 more weeks until the program begins!

I will post again once I receive the letter.

I am right there with you, and also facing a timeline crunch! That is upsetting, I was so looking forward to finding out by the end of this week at the latest.:cry: I wonder what they mean by applications pending? Thanks for replying and good luck! I will also post again once I receive a letter...

Nothing yet...I'm expecting an email sometime after 5pm letting us know the applications are still pending...LOL

Yeah, it really is amazing...I've been so frustrated and anxious for so long that I'm really just fed up. :yawn:

I'm fighting myself about calling them though...i'm sure a few people have done that already...not that it makes a difference...it's so hard to be patient! :o

I was fighting calling as well. Even if the selection was made today, it would be until the middle of next week before we actually received a letter and knew.

I believe orientation is supposed to be Jan 14th...with the holidays and everything that doesn't leave much time to prepare.

I am pretty frustrated as well. Uggh.

My friend applied. She was told the director has been ill and they were unable to adhere to their original time line. Letters will go out through e-mail and snail mail next week. They "hoped" they could get them out by Friday the 12th but apparently that didn't happen. Hold tight, everyone should hear soon. Haven't you noticed, all the schools take their time notifying students, it's a theme.

I just emailed the program admin and she said notfication emails will go out this week along with letters in the mail. :uhoh21:

She also mentioned the most recent delay was due to programmatic issues at PVCC.
