I've been in community/outpatient behavioral health nursing for a few years now, and am interviewing for an inpatient behavioral health RN position soon.
In addition to the typical personality/team member/goals questions I'm sure they'll ask, can folks that work inpatient psych give me some tips/questions you were asked, or you would ask if interviewing an RN?
Thanks so much!

Did you have your interview yet? How did it go?

You've already had your interview based on the date of your post and the date of my reply...but here is one anyway:
How would you deescalate a patient who is acting out or extremely psychotic? You can't do what you did in outpatient and send them inpatient because you ARE inpatient! So what is your game plan?
