PSB test wasn't what I thought it would be. Did I completely flunk it?

Published

Hi all,

I just got home from taking my PSB-RN test. I am so confused because I feel that the test I was given was incomplete. I took 2 timed tests, the first one being the 30 minute, 50 question that had the IQ type questions, basic math and antonyms. I feel like I did pretty well with that part but was only able to answer 43/50 questions.

The second test was the reading comprehension and I was given 15 minutes to read 5 paragraphs and answer 40 questions. I was able to answer 10 of the forty and I even rushed and skimmed each paragraph for answers. I feel like I majorly flunked that part of the test, and now I am completely freaking out. I wont be receiving the results for a couple of weeks and I am hoping someone can tell me they had a similar experience but still passed!

also, I think it was weird that there were ZERO science questions!

Do you get a second chance to take it? At my school, they used to allow you to take it up to three times, but recently changed it to 2. The best way to get a grade on it is to do as many practice questions as you can, especially focusing on the format. If they allow you to take it more than once, that is always best, though.

Sorry for the late reply...I didn't have to retake it! I scored in the 90th percentile on all of them. Crazy, right!
