I will be taking 2 hybrid classes this semester. Have any of you taken any hybrid courses and were you happy with them ? Did you find them to be as flexible as total online courses? What should I look out for when taking them ? I am taking Biology 1 and I am concerned that it may be a tad bit tough online. I am looking forward to the online component though. Would like to take total online in the future if this works out. Please forward any tips you have to make this a smooth transition for me ! Thanks loads ! Have a great week studying !!

I am currently taking A&PI as a hybrid and I love it!! I only have to go to school on Wednesday nights from 6pm - 9pm. My only downfall is the discipline for studying which I am working on.

I signed up for a hybrid psych course and dropped it in a week. I, personally, need the discipline of a classroom. And I like going to class. I originally signed up for this course to see if I would take to online courses. Now I know that "going to school" is better for me. I've thought about telecourses too, my school has alot of those. Maybe watching a lecture is better for me than reading a lecture. My personal life allows for time to go to class, though. You may be in a different situation. I think that if I was raising a family, I would force myself to do well in an online/hybrid course. Good Luck
My Bio 1 teacher has invited the class to sit in on her lectures with her other classes if we feel the need to listen to the lectures. She is an awesome teacher obviously. I went on her Sat. am lectures and it was great. I asked he if she has any lectures that I can attend during the week, especially when the work, (chemistry, genetics etc.) starts coming. I am sure she will sneak me in whenever. She is very supportive especially for her hybrids cause she realizes that it will be tougher for us. She does sneak in a bit of the lecture during class time though. We are only there primarily for the lab portion. Thanks for your insights !
