pros and cons of FCCJ night/wknd track vs. day track

Published

hey all... and thanks for reading my very first allnurses thread. i have a question for those enrolled at fccj regarding the difference between the day track and night and wknd program. i just took m nat today and combined with the points from my grades i have 220 points, but i don't know which track i should pick. what are the pros/cons of being in the night/wknd track vs. just the day track ? is there more self studying because of less classroom time w/ the night program ? how do long or holiday wknds work? if you're in the night program do you regret never having a weekend off or time off when your friends do? thanks for any help and hopefully i'll see yall in a nursing orienation sometime soon!

... or not... seriously, no one has an opinion?

Weekends/Nights is not available for the spring term, which I would have preferred also, simply because its closer than the north campus. But I just don't want to wait another semester. Did you indicate evening/weekends as first choice?

Yah... I put nights and wknds as my first choice and day track as my second choice... are you sure it's not available during the spring? I know that they offer it two times a year and only have 96 slots in the summer so, spring and fall would be the most logical choices for a night term... I hope they have one but if not I guess I won't really have a choice and I'll just have to suck it up.

Oh, I apologize they do offer the nights and weekends but from what I understand it is not offered at the Deerwood campus. The nights and weekends classes for spring term are held at the North Campus. But double check that to make sure.
