@Mleigh84 I literally just got an email saying they have finally verified my transcripts. I guess I got lucky because I submitted my application 6 days ago. now, I'll be waiting to hear back from Union or whether I've been accepted or not.
@Mleigh84 Congratulations!! i have a couple questions.. how long did it take for you to get your acceptance after you applied? did it take more than 2 weeks for NursingCas to verify your transcript? and do you mind sharing your stats for last 60 GPA?
@Fav1892 I'm in the 3rd session. Yes second was busy! but this one is more intense than the last. It's only two classes but it feels like way more. It's not the easiest thing in the world with kids but i mean its not the end of the world the way people try to make it out to be. It depends on what kind of person you are. But, its definitely not something to do just because. You REALLY have to be ready and focused or it can end quickly.
I recently spoke with another Army wife who is in the program and she said for her first semester classes on certain days were 8-4 or 8-12. i hear the 2nd semester is the most challenging. how far are you in the program? and i'm so glad to hear there's another mom in the program, my family thinks I'm setting myself up for failure.
I start at UU in Hendersonville January 28th. To the OP, I no longer live at Fort Campbell but live right outside of Nashville. I will have a 40-minute commute. @HFavored1- when I submitted my application through NCas I received my acceptance within 2 weeks. I submitted early though. People were still being added to my cohort in November/December. I took the TEAS. It did not determine if I would get in or not. They wanted it for research purposes. I am not sure what the requirement is now. Also, to the OP, when it came to GPA they only look at your last 60 hours of credits. Apply and see what happens.
Hello, just found out my husband and i will be moving to clarksville area due to his job in fort campbell. i've been looking all over for a nursing program in the area and found Union University ABSN program (i have a Bachelors already ) i see that their requirements is a 3.0 for last 60 credits a long with TEAS & ACT scores. does anyone know what the minimum score they accept or GPA?
i see that this is a 15month program, would you say this program is doable for a mom of 1 (3 yr old). i know it'll be atleast an Hour commute from clarksville if we get a house in that area.
