Oh wow, I was thinking maybe it had something to do with that but I guess not. I had a friend who didn't know she needed Micro and she didn't get in because she hadn't taken it yet. Hope you figure out what's going on!!

Did you take both Anatomy 1 and Microbiology?

You are correct, it is 4 points for a A multiplied by the credit hours. Total available points are 32 because they count A&P1, A&P1-Lab, Micro and Micro Lab.

They say that it is two hours total but when I took it they broke the verbal into blocks. 9 blocks, each block had one passage to read and 5 questions that went along with each passage. Everytime you started a new block, the clock reset to 40 mins. Then there were 30 vocabulary questions and you had 40 mins for those as well. The math was 40 questions in 40 mins. The science was 60 questions in 40 mins.

The math on my test was very basic. Mostly conversions, some fractions, some decimals and only a few algebra problems. My science section was mostly a&p and bio. Only one or two chem/physics. Hope this helps!

You're welcome! I got my score and as I suspected I did really well on the verbal, ok on the math and I bombed the science. My composite score was a 117 so with my class points in have a 147. Not sure that is going to be enough but I'm staying hopeful!

I knew the book backwards and forwards but there were only a handful of questions from the book on my exam. Based on the questions I was given, I wish I would have studied more in depth biology and advanced a&p material. Make sure you know the application and how systems work with each other, not just what the individual organs do. Hope that helps!

The test is done, let the waiting begin! Feedback for the test: The verbal section seemed pretty easy, just familiarize yourself with some of the vocab from the NLN book. This section was broken down into sections: The first 9 blocks were comprehension paragraphs, five questions per block and you had 40 minutes for each block. That was followed by 30 vocabulary questions. Next was the math which also seemed pretty easy. Mostly conversion questions, only a few algebra questions and a few questions on averages. Finally, the science section. I had one chemistry question and one physics questions, everything else was basic biology or A&P. The biggest problem for me on the science portion was that many of the questions on my exam were A&P2 questions (which I am taking this semester) so there were quite a few questions that I had to guess at simply because I haven't covered that material yet. When I finished, the gentleman overseeing the exam told me that scores probably wouldn't be available until tomorrow. Once I have my scores, I will post them here (good or bad!). Good luck to everyone taking the test this week!

Is anyone studying anything specific for the physics section other than the red NLN book? I have never taken a physics class so my knowledge is limited to the small amount of physics we learned in Chemistry.
