Applying for CCRI in Spring 2017

Anyone else that feels like they've applied but didn't get an email...... Make sure that the application you submitted was to nursing and not general studies with a concentration in pre-nursing. Apparently a least one person so far thought they applied to the spring nursing program but what she or he actually did was apply to general studies with a concentration in pre-nursing.

Check your application status in myccri. That'll tell you what decision you've received.

Check your CCRI email. That's the only place the messages were sent. If you are checking that account then check your junk email folder.

If you see that than that means you got in. Emails went only to your CCRI email address.

Applying for CCRI in Spring 2017

Listen you all. I know this is nerve wrecking waiting to hear whether you've been accepted or not. But try to fill your time with other thoughts. Think about puppies chasing kittens on a beach with beautiful palm trees waving in the wind and a cat playing your favorite song on the piano. For those that don't get accepted, just keep in mind that you all qualify for admissions into the nursing program otherwise your application never would have been processed. Sometimes it's a matter of .1 points that separate those that get a spot and those that don't. Good luck all!

Emails should be going out on September 23 at about 3:30pm. Cum GPA is used for points. If all your coursework is transferred, then your prerequisite GPA is used for points since there is no cum GPA.

It appears that nursing will be lifting the five year expiration on BIOL1010. The only course that can't be older than 5 year is BIOL1020. BIOL1020 must not be older than 5 years when you are admitted or you will be required to retake it while you are in the nursing program.

Eapereira, I agree with you. You should share your opinion with the nursing department.

It'll work the same way, you will have the option of ranking the four campus in the order of your preference. Then you'll have the chance to indicate whether you want all 4 campuses in play, or 3, 2, or 1. The default will be all four. If you change it from four to any other number you'll have to accept a disclaimer that by limiting the number of campuses you'll be reducing your chance of getting in.

Repeat limit, not really new, but is more likely to affect you now since we've had a few semesters since spring 2015, and course age on BIOL1010. Make sure that your BIOL1010 isn't more than 5 years old.
