and @JennaPants23 Nursing deposit for SCCC is due the 27th or you lose your seat! But I agree waiting another year is a little annoying however you get your BSN in just one more year, rather than doing a 2-year RN-BSN afterward. Pros and cons ya know. It wouldn’t be so bad if I wouldn’t have loans accumulating interest for those 4 years instead of 2, being able to work full time after the 2nd year as an RN to make some money and following up with a bridge from a year or 2 later. Plus I have my Bachelor Degree which I know a lot of us do or st least most Gen Ed. classes but it seems like they are throwing in some that need to be taken again specifically at Nassau/Empire? Not a fan of doing double work/paying.
If you transfer to a SUNY RN-BSN they don’t require any more gen ed. after the 2 year RN - just nursing classes and clinical (majority of what I’ve seen)
Another plus for Nassau though! It only makes sense that your BSN clinical requirement is in that 3rd year. That’s convenient.
