Got an application update for the ENP dual cert, so check those emails.
  2. Vanderbilt MSN 2017

I interviewed for the Dual Cert ENP focus. It went well, but I also interviewed for the same program last year and did not get accepted. So I take it with a grain of salt and will wait until Feb/Mar to find out more.
  3. Vanderbilt MSN 2016

Negative, but just to be clear we are talking E-mail not snail mail right?
  4. Vanderbilt MSN 2016

Hey Rawz, Matt, and the other ENPs I saw on here. I also applied ENP, haven't heard anything yet either. I assume we will hear within the deadline. I do know that during my interview it was mentioned they expanded the number of spots this year fro...
  5. Relationships with floor nurses?

  10. How to remember everything, when giving report?

I tend to use the SOAP method for giving report, or even calling a physician on one of our floor holds. It's concise, pertinent, and gets everything you need.
  11. Did anybody read that study about self extrication? This study was pretty interesting, basically there was less cervical movement when people extricated themselves out of the vehicle. Just some food for thought, who knows what best evidence practice...
  12. Best CEN review material

If there is anyway you can make it to a Jeff Solheim review course in person, DO IT. It is a great fun time and learned tons of great information. As far as material, I found Sheey's Manual of Emergency Care was a good review, recommended by the EN...
  13. Another tattoo Discussion

This. I will chime in here briefly, as an ER nurse with a full sleeve. My facility has a vague policy, and I choose to keep mine covered to prevent questions, unfortuantely the neoprene sleeves I wear in the department also bring in questions. I h...
