  1. I used my drug book also! Def look at that as it's less confusing and hits the major points. Also know very impt side effects (obv there's a lot for every drug but if there's one that stands out write it down)
  2. Don't stress yourself out! If you fail the first time at least you'll have a better idea of what to study the second time! Let me know how it goes !
  3. I looked up around 3 of the most important drugs from each category and memorized them. A lot of it was stuff I remembered from nursing school so I think my program prepared me really well. You'll be fine! Congrats :) are you starting sept 14? That's my start date
  4. Ahhh! Well at least you passed the med calc! The dosages is the part I'm confused about I've never heard of having to know dosages so I guess I'll just wing the first one. I take it on Thursday I'll let you know how it goes !
  5. Ahh good luck let me know how it is! I take it next Thursday I'll prob start studying Monday.. I think I might just google important drug dosages for nurses etc bc that's one thing I def don't feel confident with we never went over dosages in nursing school! Hoping it'll be very general -_-
  6. Congrats! She told me the same thing and said that it's very unlikely if hired per diem we will go very long without being offered full time. I'm in the emergency department starting sept 12. I'm so nervous for the pharm test I feel like I have no idea what to review!
  7. Was anyone hired full time? Or even per diem and then moved up to full time?
  8. I'm not positive but I want to say a week or 2 after I submitted everything I got the fingerprint form. I would call the board of nursing and tell them to send it again just incase!
  9. hello! the entire process took less than 4 weeks for me. when i called they told me it hasn't even been through the first round of review yet but that i should be getting it soon. i explained i really would like to have it within the next week and they continued to say how many applicants they have. i nicely thanked them and told them to have a great day. my license number was posted 30 minutes later!
  10. I got my acceptance letter almost 2 weeks ago and still have nothing else!
