@slarsen, I've heard that LSU does more lectures as well, but I didn't know if it was just perceived that way since LSU's program is longer. I will have to e-mail both schools and see if they can tell me how many total clinical hours each program has.
@mlobre, The waiting really is the worst! I'm taking classes this semester and feel so unmotivated. I need some reassurance, haha.
Another question! Does anyone know any recent Charity grads and how long it took them to find a job/where and what unit they work on? I'm going for my RN to BSN right after Charity if I decide not to go to/don't get accepted at LSU, just to be more competitive since (unfortunately) it seems like a lot of hospitals are moving towards "BSN preferred/only" new grad nurses. I'm not sure how New Orleans hospitals are about that, but I've noticed like Ochsner job postings have "BSN preferred" in most of them. Hopefully with the new hospitals they will be less picky, ha.
