    Anyone from Nigeria?

  2. Can someone please assist me with this? I am having trouble applying to universities in phillipines for a post diploma bsn degree in nursing. I got my nursing diploma certificate from my country Nigeria and my long term goal is to work in u.s or canada but the minimum requirement for registration is a bsn degree. I would like to attend a rn to bsn college in manilla if there is any but its very hard to apply to schools from outside phillipines because they rarely reply their emails and even when I call they don't answer on time and when they do, they speak tagalog not english. I would like to know if its possible for me to get admitted into a uni and get my bsc after 1 or 2 years because I already did 3 years nursing and 2 years midwifery. I just need the bsc degree. I would also appreciate it if someone can assist me with the application process (send me a message), I can email my documents to you and you can help me submit it to the school. Please I really need your assistance. Thanks.

    LPN or ADN?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this question. I just started my online application to cgfns but I culdnt proceed to the next page without verifying something. I attended a 3 years state school of nursing program and was given a registered nurse certificate and license to practice as a nurse. In the cgfns application form, there is a column for "the type of registration I am applying for" I don't know what to put there. In my country I have a registered nurse license but no Bsn degree and I'm also aware that a bsn is the minimum requirement to sit for nclex. My question now is, can I state that my application is for rn license or jst opt for lpn license? If I go for rn is it possible that my credentials may be equivalent to associate degree nursing and then I cn apply for nclex? I don't want to choose rn then later be asked to do another credentials evaluation for lpn if rn doesn't meet up with the requirements. Thanks
  5. hello everyone this is my first post and I don't know if im supposed to post this here. I am a registered nurse in Nigeria currently undergoing an 18 months midwifery program. I am considering getting my BSN in U.S or Canada but I don't know how to go about it. I don't want to undergo the online course but most schools are not taking non-us residents. what do I do? I don't want to start all over from the beginning because that will cost more. which schools can I apply to and how many years will it take me to get the bsn now that I am already an rn. thanks a lot.
