Campus based. I think you'd be hard pressed to find it online.

In Oregon psych np is def the way to go. I worked with a psychiatrist who said these days in OR the PMHNP can do what a psychiatrist can do and she would go that route instead of taking on the debt of med school. It just depends on your state thoug...

I'm starting that track at OHSU this summer. It's a one year accelerated program for your BSN with direct entry into the PMHNP program and an option to keep going for your Doctorate. My background is in social work so it's a somewhat similar switch....

Well the way they did the nursing group is generic anyways and they recommend each group branching off and making their own FB group. I know there's a way for you to start a group for the people in the Ashland cohort with you... I'm not exactly sure...

Are you sure you need an actual genetics class? The genetics portion of my Cell Bio class covered the genetics requirement.

I heard from OHSU but only because I called and told them my story about getting married in two weeks - they took pity on me. :) I needed some sort of answer so I could stop stressing! I'm a 'high candidate' on the waiting list - not sure what that...

Portland Women's Crisis Line is the equivalent here. It's fabulous and an amazing experience.

You can find some good places for that in Portland. Portland is difficult to figure out until you come see the neighborhoods - then it makes more sense. Where are you coming from?

Oh man. I got emails last year from the school of nursing and then I got my rejection letter and was not so happy to see those emails coming every week. Come to think of it... I still get them.

Unfortunately they didn't have dates yet for the interviews.. just a time frame like before. Waiting is so hard, I agree!

I talked to them earlier this week and they said calls will go out in the next two weeks. So we've got some time.

Holy cow BendOregon, that's insane they aren't counting your graduate degree! I'm sorry! Last year OHSU called people to schedule interviews at the beginning of Feb. The waiting is the hardest part!

I applied for the psych specialty so you'll get a letter any day now. They were sending letters in waves.

Yea. I got my rejection letter on Friday. I set up a meeting with a counselor to discuss what I can do different next time. Thin Mint cookies are getting me through in the mean time. :)

Well this morning they told me letters are going out in waves so we could get them any day or not until the end of next week! Sad.
