What is it like to work in a clinic?

Would you be able to describe your work setting? i.e age of patients do you do alot of preventive care/referrals/etc. Can you describe your typical day from the start to the end. After you describe your job description how do you identify the fit between the description of the role and the specifics of the job description? What was your orientation process? What made it easy? What barriers existed? What advice can you give a new NP going into internal medicine Do you have an actual job description of your role possibly on your resume or the posting of the job you applied for? Do you belong to any formal groups? If so how often do they meet or how do you stay active.
