    Care Partners?

Just a visiting nurse in the community. Glad to hear positive feedback. Fingers crossed. I only applied yesterday.

    Care Partners?

Thanks for the reply. I did spend 8 years as a PSW in the community before I was an RPN so I am used to the sights ( and smells) of the community. You never know what you are walking into. I feel fairly confident of working on my own since I have over 10 years of experience. I am considering giving community a try. I just quit a retirement home job that was a nightmare. I'm still trying to find something that is the right fit for me.

    Care Partners?

Did you enjoy it? Were they supportive?

    Care Partners?

Has anyone here worked for Care Partners? Specifically in Ontario? I've heard mixed reviews.

Orlando Tragedy - "Why Does It Bother You So Much?"

The horror has nothing to do with the fact that it was an attack toward any certain community. The horror is because it was innocent human beings being slaughtered. It doesn't matter what their sexual orientation was. They were human beings. My disgust lies with the US allowing these firearms to be sold to any schmo off the street.

A Newly Defined Type of Constipation: Opioid Induced Constipation

Since when is it "news" that opioids cause constipation?

Measles, Mumps, Rubella... Forgotten but NOT Gone

Oh she would find an article on the internet that would back her up. I pointed out to her that there were some childhood illnesses that were coming back due to people not vaccinating hteir kids. Her response was that these diseases come in cycles and they were due to come back anyways. Sigh.

Measles, Mumps, Rubella... Forgotten but NOT Gone

I would love to foreword your post to my oldest sister. However I know I would just be starting a war. She is a staunch advocate of the "vaccines cause autism" camp. Yes she can claim to know people who had perfectly normal children and when they got vaccinated - POOF they became autistic the very next day. I think we could reason with these people until we are blue in the face and they will not listen. Fortunately she is not a nurse.

Nobody Likes Me. Everyone Hates Me.

.... guess I''l go eat worms:roflmao: I am mystified by people that complain that their instructor/charge nurse/coworker isn't warm and fuzzy all the time. Not everyone is going to be wonderful and love you to bits. But you have to learn to work with these people and "play nice" even if they don't. and yes, if you are feeling overwhelmed or dumped on you have to speak up. I think sone people just feel they are being persecuted no matter what.
  12. I just say " I have to get back to work".
