So last week (wed) I went in for an interview for a student nurse tech. The lady said someone would be following up with me to set up another interview with a nurse manager. She also said that once that was done, they would review all the interviewees, and then decide who got the job (there are several openings). I think I am going to call tomorrow since i have not been contacted, and just follow up i guess. I'm a little bit discouraged though. I thought the interview went quite well, but what I am worried about is this sheet i filled out before I talked to her that asked about specific skills and we were suppose to check off a. i can do without help, b. need to review c. never have. I had alot of never haves on that sheet..... stuff i have maybe done in lab but not on a real patient so i put that down. Im thinking maybe i should have just put need review, but then again i didnt want them to think that i knew what i was doing for a particular skill when i do not. I have no other experience in the medical field and was so excited when i got the call for this job, i just want to start getting comfortable working in the medical field because i feel like i am not learning that much in clinical..... ugh any thoughts?
