    Washington Hospital Center July 2011

I think if you do it onsite you're good to go that day.

Somebody asked about DC Fingerprints--yes, it is required for them to process or even look at your DC RN license application--it is not listed on the checklist though but there is a separate section on the website regarding fingerprints and how to go about getting them done. You can get them done onsite in DC or have them done locally and mail them in (what I'm doing) if you are not in the area. It takes along time to have it done long-distance so I'd get on it asap if you're from out-of-the-district area. !

I had an interview yesterday and thought it went really well!! I was really glad that I'd been reading this thread because I felt really prepared. My nurse director asked two of the exact same questions that someone had posted on here, and it was nice not to be shocked by there being like 25 other interviewees there. Anyways, I thought it went really well, and I hope I hear something soon!!

Alright, thanks for the idea!!! Also, do we need to bring copies of our resume/cover letters? Did any one do that at your interview??

Hello everyone! I just applied today and hope to receive an interview invite soon! (Too bad I applied on a Friday--it's gonna be a long weekend waiting ;-) I am from Arkansas and really hoping to move to DC and get a job at WHC! Has anyone else that has applied and gotten interview confirmation from out-of-state? I'm hoping it isn't a disadvantage :-/ Wish me luck!!

Next Air Force NTP Boards in 2010?

I have recently looked into joining the af via the NTP program after i graduate in May 2011. Talked to the recruiter today and he said rumors are floating around that they are only taking like 20-50 new grads at the boards in Jan due to accepting too many last year. I haven't even started my packed yet, but plan to immediately. He said it would still be doable, but does anyone else think otherwise? I dont want to go thru the whole process if i dont even really have a shot at getting it all done in time? Also, I would take these "rumors" as a grain of salt. If you want to do it, apply. The worst that happens is you dont get in and you take a job in the civi world or try again in a year or two. You're not out of anything, and at least you tried. Does anyone else know anything about how many new grads they will be accepting in Jan 2011 boards or GPA requirements, etc?
