  1. In Oregon it is very competitive. My program states that the average GPA for its entering class is 3.93. CNA experience plus a previous degree are almost requirements due to the large number of students interesting in becoming nurses.

    BS Electrical Engineering 5 credits from BS Biology Starting ADN program in September. I guess I love going to school....

    My advisor told me to have fun until school starts. We worked very hard to get accepted, so why stress out now.
  6. How important is being physically fit in Nursing?

    Nobody likes a fat nurse. We all took Nutrition class. Avoid simple carbs and try to exercise for an hour every day.

    Include me in the list. I am starting the ADN program at PCC in Portland Oregon. They just released the class roster for the class of 2013. There are 65 females and 15 males in my class, and two of them have the same first name as me. SVXPORT

    Hopefully next Thursday for PCC (my #1 choice). I'm feeling a little stressed because their class size is only 80 (I always thought it was 100).
