Yes! I would also recommend that you take some classes before you start the LVN Program at St. Philips College. I would take Human Anatomy I, Human Anatomy II, Psychology Growth & Development, and Nutrition. I'm in my second semester of the LVN Program, and I had to take the full 18 hours the first semester, and it was a lot! Another reason, besides course load, to take these classes before is that they are required for the LVN to RN Program, and at least you have them out of the way now! :)
