    VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hopefull and praise2u, I actually took and passed all the prerequisites for the RN program at NCC, but their program was way too competitive. I was trying to get some family situations in order before applying to VEEB, as their program is so demanding. That is why I tested so late, I picked up my application less than a week before their last test date. Furthermore, I am a firm believer in synchronicity. Before the time is never the time. After the time is never the time. But the time is always the time. In other words, things will happen when they are meant to happen. Things always fall in their right places (for me any way) and some things are just not meant to be. If this sept is the right time for me attend, so shall it be. If I don't hear from VEEB soon I will go back to NCC and take the prerequisites for the other RN programs I have been looking into, like bio and chem. And maybe more psych (my fave), to insure that once I'm done w/ VEEB I can apply to any RN program, directly.

I guess I'm helping you. When you look up my "big words" you'll do better on the comprehension part of the test. I truly wish you all the luck, seems like you'll need it.

    VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Geo299 while you guys were impatiently waiting for your results I was totally rooting for ny-mom, nursegurl, trini, malenurse amongst many others.I hope many others named and other wise who did not pass still do well in the bridge and make it in the program for sept . I do not have the "crabs in a barrel syndrome". Most of us are not fresh out of high school and for the benefit of our society, the greater good, and our own personnal or family reasons need to succeed. From my observations, most of us here are adults, reguardless of age. If paying for the bridge increased my chances of getting in I would pay ( in a heart beat). Thanks nursegurl for your honest reply and sorry geo if I have offended you. Since I have grown to admire many who have not passed I will bite my tongue and leave it at that geo, thanks for you support. :yeahthat:

    VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hello everyone, First I'd like to say I liked reading your posts, they were informative and that you are a supportive bunch. Second, I have read a lot of posts about the bridge program and they have confused me. I recieved a letter today saying that I passed the entrance exam, but they have put a "hold" on offering additional seats. I guess I'm on a wait list. So I'm wondering, from what I've read here it seems that they are holding seats for those in the bridge program; I don't know what to make of this. Would I have a better chance getting in if I had not passed?:hdvwl: What does this "hold" mean for those who passed? Does that mean they're put on a waiting list? :thnkg: Please help.
