Honestly there was no evidemce given and i haven't really researched it, only here say. I just posted that i was also being told this to the original poster that this is why i am also not allowed to work but so many hours.

They both say thanks to obamacare you can only work 2 shifts at most a week as a PRN.

Some what. Seems like depending on the day i get different answers. Haha

I am also experiencing the same thing as the original poster. I wok (2) PRN jobs and they have both said I can only work at most 2 days a week because of Obamacare.

My old floor was always 5 and most nights a 6th patient too.

I hear you. I have heard horror stories about statistics and do not look forward to starting it at all. From what I've read technical writing isn't to bad. Good luck to you. =)

Sorry it took me a minute to respond. I'm taking technical writing only and it starts Monday. I just started my new hospital position and wanted to keep it light for now.

Is it overwhelming? What classes are you starting with? They have my course map to be technical writing and nursing A.

I got my acceptance today along with my course map and it doesn't look too bad. I was offered to start Monday but think I'm going to wait until the 2/27/2012 start date.

I got my acceptance today and course map. It stated starting on the 16th but I think I'm going to put it off until Feb 27th. They took a lot of my credits and I'm hoping to be done in the 13months. Good luck to everyone starting.

Smajerczyk, I'm currently waiting too. They do seem to take a good bit of time to get back to you, which sucks because I'm ready to hear what all I still need to complete the BSN.
