   why did you decide to switch to nursing? just curious... as stated above, some nurses hate and some like, as in any profession. i would def shadow a nurse if you haven't already. i wish i had.

   i am well aware of laws, such as "abandonment". i don't want to lose my license. I did not walk out. a nurse took report from me before i left. if they refused to take report i would have stayed until 7am when they had more staff.

   The two ICU's I have worked in it is the Docs or midlevels that put art lines in. Its something that would be cool to learn but IMHO nurses have enough to do already in the ICU.
