  1. Hi @Jaimethenurse, I did not transfer from another program. I applied early. With my graduate nursing degree (MN), my GPA was a 3.76. However, I feel like it was a collective whole that helped me to get into the program. I believe that applying for early admissions does help a lot but I have a feeling it was a combination of my resume, leadership experience, goal statement, and interview. I also think that if you want to get into the Johns Hopkins program specifically, then it would be wise to attend their school of nursing virtual sessions that are pretty much open to the public. These include diversity dimensions and other types of sessions, and most especially their informational sessions (as many as you need to attend) in order get as familiar and as comfortable with their program, staff, requirements, facts and data - to the point that you are well versed in their mission and values and can describe how they align with your own. Immerse yourself in their program and be engaged. All of this helps, too, during the interview. Hope this helps. Best wishes!
  2. Hi all. I applied for early decision. Interviewed on Dec 14th, and received admission letter on Jan 6th. The admission letter indicated that I was awarded with a scholarship.
  3. Congratulations to all accepted. Just sharing with you that there is a private FB group started up a couple of months ago in case any newly accepted would like to join. The private FB group name is Johns Hopkins DNP FNP Fall 2021.
  4. Perfect, thanks so much for creating the group for both years.
  5. Im interested. I got into the 3yr DNP-FNP program but not moving to Baltimore.
  6. I was awarded a scholarship and it was noted and described in my acceptance letter. ????????
  7. I wrote too early!! I just checked my email but overlooked it. I was accepted. Thank you God!! Best wishes everyone!
  8. Awesome, CONGRATULATIONS! I applied for DNP FNP 3yr track on 12/14, still no word. Anxiously waiting... Best wishes to all of us. Meant to say I interviewed on 12/14.
  9. I applied to the DNP-FNP 3yr track, interviewed 2 weeks ago. I haven’t heard anything either. Anxiously waiting...
  10. I haven’t heard anything. Anxiously waiting as well. ??
  11. @powerpuffnurse1 I applied to the 3 year DNP-FNP program.
  12. Best wishes to you! ☺️ OK, great! Mine was Dr. McIltrot.
  13. Did anyone else have a lengthy interview? Mine lasted for 75mins.
  14. Yes, I received the Areas of Excellence Scholarship e-mail. I hope that’s a good sign ?
  15. Does anyone know if there is more than one interview?
  16. Yay! Scheduled my interview. Good luck, everyone!
  17. That’s awesome. Congratulations and best wishes.
  18. NCAS did not verify my application until mid-Nov. I was told that the school will be reviewing the set of applications received in mid-Nov in the next 1-2 weeks. They review in the order in which the apps are received. I am hoping for an interview at the very least.
  19. I applied for early decision as well and did not hear anything thus far. After following up today, I was just informed that they received a larger number of applications than expected and that they will hopefully review my application in the next 1-2 weeks.
